Dear Physicians for Peace:
I watched your program in the internet. It gave me hope to walk again and work normally and continue living. I was amputated last November 22, 2008 here in Calgary, Canada. Unfortunately, I don’t have any access in the Alberta Health Care. I just tried my luck entering Canada as a tourist. Right now, I am just staying with a Filipino friend who helps me in my needs here. I want to go back home in the Philippines to be with my family and find my luck there again.
I wish to seek assistance from your program to have a prosthetic leg. I would appreciate if this wish could reach your institution.
More power!
